Community Service Opp! Earn Honor Stole Points
The NJ ASK Saturday Program in Glenfield Middle School needs students who can dedicate 3-6 consecutive Saturdays from 8am -12pm. They are given breakfast every morning and they are assigned to reading, writing, or math depending on their strengths. The program consists of sitting with a small group of students for one-on-one help with an individual subject matter. The volunteers will be assigned to a particular teacher and stay there for the day. The class is about 15 minutes of lecturing and then the students break off into small groups to work individually with students based on what the teacher just taught.
If interested, please email Sylvia Bryant at SBryant@montclair.k12.nj.us and mention the NJ ASK Saturday Program.
